1-The boat

The Silver Origin is 101 meters long by 16 wide, 8 decks and can accommodate 100 passengers in 51 suites. To attend to its guests, it has a crew made up of 90 professionals. With a ratio of almost 1 passenger for each crew member, it offers a personalized and impeccable service throughout the trip.

2-Activities and entertainment for adults

A team of qualified guides share with passengers their experience and knowledge about the fauna, flora and history of the Galapagos Islands. Thanks to 8 zodiacs, travelers will be able to leave the ship and approach the wonders of the archipelago. During these excursions, you will have the opportunity to go hiking, kayaking or snorkeling.

To find out more about this unique wilderness area, there is nothing better than going to deck 3. Equipped with an interactive wall, Basecamp is the perfect place to plan excursions, meet the guides and share impressions with other cruise passengers.

On board, the ship has a luxurious beauty salon and spa. The privileged passengers will be able to choose from a wide range of services, such as moisturizing treatments, rejuvenating treatments and relaxing massages. Silver Origin also features a library, fitness room, outdoor Jacuzzi, and stargazing deck.

3-Restaurants, bars and lounges

This exceptional ship has two gourmet restaurants. The first, soberly called “El Restaurante”, offers the opportunity to discover Ecuadorian culinary traditions, but also specialties from around the world.

The Grill is an outdoor restaurant that can be covered and partitioned if the weather turns cool. During the day, this restaurant serves delicious food from the grill, while at night, it offers diners the chance to experience the concept of “Hot Rocks” cuisine.

The Silver Origin also has 2 lounges. The observation room is located in the forward part of the ship. Thanks to its large windows, it shows a nice panoramic view of the surroundings. Those passengers who wish to end the day with some music should head to the Explorer Lounge, a cozy and sophisticated piano bar.

4-Accommodation aboard the Silver Origin

The elegant and comfortable suites at the Silver Origin measure. Comko minimum, 30 square meters. All are equipped with a large balcony, a seating area with a desk and a dressing room. The largest suite is 160 square meters.

Guests of this exceptional ship will enjoy high-end services, such as butler service and 24-hour room service.

5-Environmental Protection

Designed to sail in the Galapagos National Park, the Silver Origin is a ship that respects the Environment. It is equipped with a dynamic positioning system, an advanced technology that allows the ship to remain in place without the need for anchors, thus preserving the seabed when placed over fragile ecosystems.

It is also equipped with innovative devices to reduce fuel consumption and harmful gas emissions, as well as to transform seawater into drinking water.

The shipping company has also created the Silversea Fund for the Galapagos, whose objective is to support local populations by financing educational and scientific projects.
